Kickin’Inn is growing. As the Australian hospitality industry navigates rising costs and shifting consumer habits, our focus remains on doing what we do best: opening well-run seafood restaurants that people actually want to come back to. We are heading into the new financial year with five new locations confirmed and a clear plan for each one.
Growing the Kickin’Inn Brand Across Australia
Each new Kickin’Inn restaurant takes roughly six to eight months to go from lease signing to opening night. That process covers fit-out, staff recruitment, local supplier agreements, and menu testing to make sure the food quality matches what regulars at our existing 31 locations already expect.
Kickin’Inn Australia CEO Ravi Singh has led the brand’s Australian expansion since its early days. The target is 100 restaurants by 2033, and with 31 currently operating and five more confirmed, that goal is tracking ahead of schedule. You can learn more about the Kickin’Inn story on our About Us page.
What Makes a Kickin’Inn Seafood Boil Different
If you have not been to a Kickin’Inn before, here is what to expect: you pick your seafood (prawns, crab, lobster, mussels, or a combination), choose a sauce and spice level, and it all arrives in a bag tipped straight onto the table. Gloves and bibs are provided. Cutlery is optional. It is loud, messy, and built for groups.
Sauces and Menu Highlights
The menu rotates seasonally, but the core seafood boil options and signature sauces stay consistent across all locations. Popular picks include the Cajun Bag, the Garlic Butter Bag, and the Kickin’ Combo for larger groups. You can check the full range on the Kickin’Inn menu page.
