On Sunday 9 August 2026, the Kickin’Inn team will exchnage seafood bags for running shoes while participating in City2Surf to support Little WIngs
This Year, Kickin’Inn is excited to be the primary sponsor of Little Wings for City2Surf. Our Team will be participating alongside thousands of runners and walkers on the course, contributing to raise awareness and funds for an organization that positively impacts seriously ill children and their families.
Taking on Australia’s Largest Fun Run
City2Surf is the biggest fun run in Australia and one of the most well-known community events in Sydney.
The 14 – kilometre route starts in the Sydney CBD and makes its way through the eastern suburbs and finishes at Bondi Beach. Each year, the event unites runners, walkers, families, companies and charity groups from all over Australia.
Some participants are pursuing their personal best, white others are joining in with friends or backing a meaningful cause. For Kickin’Inn team, this year’s campaign focuses on supporting Little Wings and increasing awareness about the significant work they perform.
Who are Little Wings?
Little Wings provides free flights for seriously ill children living in regional and rural Australia so they can access life-saving medical treatment.
For many families, the specialist care their child needs may be hundreds of kilometres away in a major city. Travelling regularly for appointments, treatment and hospital stays can be physically, emotionally and financially exhausting, especially during an already difficult time.
Little Wings helps ease some of that pressure by providing free air transport for children and their families. By helping them reach the medical care they need, Little Wings gives families one less thing to worry about and allows them to focus on what matters most: their child’s health and wellbeing.

Community has always been heart of the Kickin’Inn brand. Our restaurants are venues where loved one gathers, enjoy meals and create memories around the table.
Supporting Little Wings is another way we can help families stay connected when being together matter most. This is why our team is proud to take part in City2Surf and represents Kickin’Inn while supporting an organisation that provides practical life changing assistance to children and families across Australia.
Running 14 kilometres will be tough, yet it is a minor challenge compared to what many families of Little Wings encounter. Every action our team takes will contribute to raising awareness and demonstrate our support of the vital work Little Wings perform daily.
