Ramadan Deals

Ramadan has begun which is an important time of year for the Kickin’Inn community. Ramadan is a time for spiritual reflection, growth, and spending quality time with their loved ones. During Ramadan, the Arabic faith community gathers together and abstains from partaking in the simple pleasures of life that some take for granted. During this Ramadan they forgo eating and drinking between sunrise and sunset each day. In Sydney this year Ramadan runs from the 22nd of March till the 20th of April.

This Ramadan we have decided to run a promotion for 30 days called Ramadan deals. During this time, we’ll have four delicious deals on offer, ranging in size and price for all different budgets. Each meal will begin with the word Iftar, meaning the meal eaten during Ramadan after sunset. And will be followed by a word symbolising something of profound significance to the Arabic faithed community during Ramadan.

These exclusive deals will be available to enjoy at all our restaurants from tomorrow (March 22) until April 20:

Brothers in Need

We’re excited to announce that we’re partnering with Brothers in Need to help give back to our wonderful Arabic faithed community here in Sydney. Donations are a big part of Ramadan for many within the community, as this time is about giving back to those struggling. Brothers in Need is a Muslim-based charity that is committed to sharing and giving back to the community by creating pathways for partnership and growth.

Partnering with Brothers in Need was a no-brainer for us at Kickin’Inn, as we both share the same company values and are inspired to give back and do good within the community. The team at Brothers in Need led by Dean Masoud has been amazing by coming on board. They have helped us carry out our vision of helping give back to the community.

Donation

$3 from each Ramadan deal purchased by customers throughout the promotion, will be donating to Brothers in Need. This will go towards helping feed the community and support Brothers in Need with their upcoming projects. A portion of the $3 donated from every deal sold will contribute towards helping Brothers in Need with their soup kitchen in Punchbowl and launching their mobile food pantry in the new financial year. Every week Brothers in Need help feed over 450 homeless people and assist around 70 asylum-seeker families with essential food items weekly. Knowing Kickin’Inn will help assist these initiatives is a humbling feeling and something we can’t wait to do more of moving forward into the future.

Kickin’Inn will also be supplying 100 boxes of non-perishable goods per state in NSW, QLD, and VIC, which Brothers in Need will be distributing during Ramadan. Each pack contains essential food items and will be given out to those in need.
