Kickin’Inn’s #ActForHumanity ♥️

A little over three months ago, we joined forces with Australian Red Cross to get our team, fans and customers involved with making a difference in our local communities. $1 from every Kickin’ Mixed Bag® sold at Kickin’Inn was donated directly to Australian Red Cross, to help provide vital support and financial assistance to our fellow Aussies in need.

In March, we saw the impact of the devastating floods and catastrophic weather events affect thousands of Aussies across NSW and QLD. Throughout the month of March, we sold over 8000 Mixed Bags®, contributing more than $8000 to the Australian Red Cross QLD and NSW floods appeal. With your support, we were able to help provide assistance to over 35,000 people affected by the floods.

Throughout April and May, we shifted our focus to help Aussies struggling with loneliness and experiencing social exclusion. With more than 50% of Australians experiencing loneliness, we felt that it was more important than ever to help increase the impact of the various initiatives Australian Red Cross have created to help fight this epidemic. Collectively across the two months, we were able to contribute $15,000 to help support initiatives such as TeleCross, the Community Visitors Scheme, Night Cafe, Meals On Wheels and more.

In the final month of our #ActForHumanity campaign, we raised vital funds to help provide financial support and assistance for at risk youth in Australia and help break the cycle of disadvantage. In the month of June, more than $6000 was raised to support Australian Red Cross initiatives such as Night Cafe, the Young Parents Program, the Learner Driver Mentor Program, WorkREDi, The SHAK and more.

As we wrap up our Australian Red Cross #ActForHumanity campaign, we want to thank every single person who contributed to this amazing cause. Whether you were on the ground informing and educating customers, ordering the Mixed Bag® or simply sharing the word on social media, this would not have been made possible without YOU ♥️

Kickin’Inn’s #ActForHumanity

Kickin’Inn’s #ActForHumanity continues this month as we raise money for Australian Red Cross to help provide vital financial support and assistance for at risk youth in Australia and break the cycle of disadvantage.

Humanitarian needs are growing dramatically each year, with more than 270 million people needing humanitarian assistance and protection in 2022 alone! In an average year, Red Cross helps more than 2000 people find housing and supports over 1000 people who are at risk of becoming homeless, through a range of programs and initiatives. These include Night Cafe, the Young Parents Program, the Learner Driver Mentor Program, WorkREDi, The SHAK and more.

In the month of June, $1 from the sale of every Mixed Bag® will be donated directly to Australian Red Cross to help support these incredible programs and initiatives. By purchasing a Mixed Bag®, YOU directly help break the cycle of disadvantage in Australia!

To All Our QLD Fans & Customers:

To all our Queensland fans, customers and supporters:

We want to thank you all for the overwhelming amount of love and support for Kickin’Inn Spring Hill. After countless messages and comments asking us to bring the #kickinvibe up to Queensland, we finally opened our very first store just a few short weeks ago and the reception we have received has been unbelievable!

With any store opening, we face many challenges and Spring Hill is no different. As you may have noticed, we are currently operating without a Liquor Licence and therefore, unfortunately unable to serve any alcohol on the premises. We have done everything in our power to obtain this and have been patiently waiting well over two months for the Queensland Government to provide us with the licence but unfortunately, they are letting us down.

We thank you all for your patience and understanding during this time as we work hard to obtain the Liquor Licence as quickly as possible. We look forward to seeing you in the restaurant soon!
