2022 Wrapped Up!
What a year 2022 was at Kickin’Inn! It’s safe to say this was our most successful year to date, all made possible by our amazing customers. After some unforeseeable challenges that saw us and the country go into lockdown in 2021, it was great to finally see the back end of it and focus on what mattered most in 2022, which was serving delicious food to our customers. Throughout 2022 with the help of our incredible 400 Kickin’ Tribe members, we opened five brand new Kickin’Inn restaurants. A highlight was opening our first Queensland store, which has been one of our most popular to date. Seeing the love and support we received from the Queensland community has been amazing to say the least. Opening 4 stores was a massive achievement, however in 2023 we’re coming in bigger and better as we look to open more stores and venture into new areas of Australia.
The success Kickin’Inn achieved in 2022 is all thanks to our amazing customers and fans. The countless support shown since our inception in 2018 is the reason we are where we are today. Our customers are the heart of our business, and we’ll continue doing our best to continue serving the most delicious seafood in Australia. Also, a big shout out to our Kickin’ Tribe of 400 workers, who have helped carry out the Kickin’Inn vision. Our staff continue to show their commitment to the brand through their constant hard work and passion for their job.
2023 Vision
2023 is set to be our biggest year yet for the brand. Our foot will be on the gas pedal all year long with plenty happening. First off, we have promotions and deals running all year long. Most of our promotions will run in conjunction with important celebrations and holidays. Our promotions will offer customers some great deals and exciting new menu products. Throughout some of our promotions, we’ll be continuing to work closely with charities and organisations that we strongly support and will be donating a percentage of profits throughout some promotions. Secondly, with a goal to open 100 stores by 2030, we’ll be doing a lot of market research and site inspections for proposed new restaurant locations, as we already have several stores in the pipeline ready to go for 2023. We are still yet to open stores in Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia, and Tasmania. These states will be on our agenda for 2023 and beyond.
What’s Happening in 2023?
To end 2022 and begin 2023, we’ll have an irresistible drinks promotion running. All table bookings from 19th December 2022 to 2nd January 2023 will receive 25% OFF all jugs and bottles of wine purchased when dining in. This deal will run in conjunction with our five delicious new Festive Deals, giving everyone more reason to come and celebrate at Kickin’Inn with family and friends. To continue the good vibes throughout January, we’ll be doing something special for the little ones. Each kid’s meal purchased in January will receive complimentary colouring pencils and page with their meal. We cannot wait to see all the little ones come in with their parents to enjoy a kid’s meal with their colouring pack!
Moving into February and March, we’ll have Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day specials running to celebrate these events. BUT, that’s all we can reveal for the time being ?

New Store Openings
We recently just opened Kickin’Inn Penrith! Store number 15 and the final one for 2022, a highly anticipated store that we’re sure will achieve great success and be loved by the locals. Our Penrith restaurant is located at 261 Mulgoa Rd, Jamisontown NSW. We are thrilled to have finally opened in Penrith, which has been in the works for quite some time now. Make sure to come down for a visit with friends and family!
For residents of Logan and Adelaide, we have some great news! 2023 is going to see a large number of new Kickin’Inn stores open throughout the year across the country. However, Logan and Adelaide are the first two on our agenda. Our second QLD store is finally arriving! After the success of our Spring Hill store opening in 2022, our presence within the community has been undeniable! Kickin’Inn Logan will be located on Wembley Rd, Logan Central, situated only 30 minutes from our popular Spring Hill store. Our plans for 2023 are to expand further into QLD and make Kickin’Inn accessible for all our fans there.
Our reach at Kickin’Inn has expanded dramatically over the last couple of years, and the growth seen has been overwhelming to say the least. The result of this has led to a lot of demand throughout Australia to open stores. However, great things take time, and as much as we want to open stores all over the country, it is definitely a timely process.
We want to thank everyone for their continued patience, especially our fans in WA, SA, TAS, and NT. However, we want to make it known that our team is working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring these new restaurants to life. With 100 stores to open by 2030, there’s plenty of work ahead of us. However, rest assured in 2023 we’ll be looking to end the year with at least one Kickin’Inn restaurant in every state. There’ll be some big announcements throughout 2023, so be sure to watch for news and updates via our socials and website.

In 2023 we expect to see rapid expansion across all facets of the business, which means our Kickin’ Tribe will exceed 400 people.
