Last year, we launched our Cheers To Champion Charities campaign, which saw $1 from the sale of every Signature Shrimp Martini donated directly to three life saving charities, one of which, was Little Wings.
Little Wings is a non-profit organisation, that provides free and safe flight and ground transport services for seriously ill children in rural and regional NSW. The incredible team at Little Wings recently reached out to us to share one of the stories of how the donations from the campaign have been utilised and we simply had to share it with everyone who helped make this possible!

On Saturday, Kickin’Inn proudly fed hundreds of Australian Red Cross staff and volunteers across Sydney and Melbourne as they raised money for those affected by the recent floods during the Australia Unites Flood Appeal telethon.
Saturday’s telethon saw more than 92,000 people come together to collectively donate $25.2M for the victims of the recent floods in NSW and QLD.
Australian Red Cross has announced they will be distributing the funds from this Friday via two cash grants; a Bereavement Grant of $20,000 for the senior next-of-kin of people who lost their lives in the recent floods, and a Relief Grant of $500 per household to help with immediate needs of those who were affected by the floods.
We are honoured to be working together with such an incredible organisation to help our fellow Australians in as many ways as possible and thank all our fans and customers for taking part through donating or simply by sharing our stories and raising awareness.

On this day a year ago, we opened Kickin’Inn Bankstown, our first and only store inside an RSL club. The restaurant is one of our largest to date, with a capacity of over 400 guests!
Two years ago today, we opened our Zetland store in the centre of East Village Shopping centre. This is our first ever double storey store and welcomes customers from all over the city and beyond!
Opening both of these stores in the middle of a pandemic has been challenging to say the very least, as we navigated everything from lockdowns to restrictions, labour shortages and every possible government mandate. Nevertheless, thanks to the tenacity of our amazing staff and continuous support from our incredible customers, Kickin’Inn Bankstown and Kickin’Inn Zetland have grown to become two of our most popular locations in the country!

With the recent catastrophic weather events in NSW and QLD, we believe it’s more important than ever to get involved and help out our local communities. After a successful charity campaign with Australian Red Cross last year, we’ve reached out again to find out what we can do to support our fellow Australians.
From today, $1 from every Mixed Bag® sold at Kickin’Inn will be donated to Australian Red Cross, to help provide financial assistance for the communities impacted by the flash flooding and heavy rains.
Australian Red Cross is providing urgent humanitarian support to individuals and communities affected by the floods. They provide a wide variety of assistance including psychological support, reunification services and essential support and assistance at evacuation and relief centres.
More than 450 Red Cross emergency response team members and volunteers have been involved to date, supporting more than 30 evacuation centres across NSW and QLD and assisting more than 7000 people.
Kickin’Inn is honoured to join forces with Australian Red Cross and help provide financial assistance to help individuals and families affected by the NSW and QLD floods. We hope everyone is excited as we are to be contributing to such an incredible organisation.
